Revealing New Talent
The English Literature Student Association (Hima Sasing) once again amazed the audience with its annual event, Showcase 2023, with the theme “Beyond The Language”. The event, held on November 4, 2023, was a platform for the 23rd batch of freshmen to showcase their various talents. A total of 35 students enthusiastically participated in the event, showing their abilities:

The event was also enlivened by the presence of several esteemed faculty members. Showcase 2023 was not just an event, but also a celebration of the various talents within the English Literature Student Association. The 35 participating students wowed the audience with their solo and group performances, uplifting speeches, and mesmerizing news broadcasts that showcased their communication skills. The diversity of talent on display reflected the richness of the English Literature program and the creativity within its student body.
From soulful solo songs to energetic group performances, each performance brought something unique to the stage, leaving the audience in awe. The event’s theme, “Beyond The Language,” resonated throughout the event, emphasizing the power of expression that transcends the boundaries of language.
The Hard-Fought Success of Showcase 2023
The success of Showcase 2023 did not come easily. Behind the scenes, there is a story of hard work, dedication, and careful planning. The organizing committee, led by the English Literature Student Association, invested countless hours in rehearsals and coordination to ensure the smooth execution of the event. The commitment of these students turned the event into a vibrant and lively talent show.
The Head of English Literature Study Program expressed his pride in the achievements of the English Literature Student Association and the new batch of 2023 students. He praised the event as a starting point for personal and collective growth, emphasizing the importance of collaboration, unity, mutual support, and the development of each student’s potential.
Memunculkan Bakat Baru
Himpunan Mahasiswa Sastra Inggris (Hima Sasing) kembali memukau para penonton dengan acara tahunannya, Showcase 2023, yang bertemakan “Beyond The Language”. Acara yang diselenggarakan pada tanggal 4 November 2023 ini menjadi ajang bagi mahasiswa baru angkatan ke-23 untuk menampilkan beragam bakat mereka. Sebanyak 35 mahasiswa yang antusias berpartisipasi dalam acara tersebut, menunjukkan kemampuannya :

Acara ini juga dimeriahkan oleh kehadiran beberapa anggota fakultas yang terhormat. Showcase 2023 bukan hanya sebuah acara, tetapi juga merupakan perayaan dari berbagai bakat yang ada di dalam Himpunan Mahasiswa Sastra Inggris. Sebanyak 35 mahasiswa yang berpartisipasi memukau penonton dengan penampilan solo dan kelompok mereka, pidato yang menyampaikan semangat, dan siaran berita yang memukau yang menampilkan keterampilan komunikasi mereka. Keragaman bakat yang ditampilkan mencerminkan kekayaan program Sastra Inggris dan kreativitas di dalam tubuh mahasiswanya.
Dari lagu-lagu solo yang penuh perasaan hingga penampilan kelompok yang energik, setiap penampilan membawa sesuatu yang unik ke atas panggung, membuat para penonton terkagum-kagum. Tema acara ini, “Beyond The Language,” bergema di seluruh acara, menekankan kekuatan ekspresi yang melampaui batas-batas bahasa.
Keberhasilan Showcase 2023 yang Diperjuangkan dengan Keras
Keberhasilan Showcase 2023 tidak datang dengan mudah. Di balik layar, terdapat kisah kerja keras, dedikasi, dan perencanaan yang cermat. Panitia penyelenggara, yang dipimpin oleh Himpunan Mahasiswa Sastra Inggris, menginvestasikan waktu berjam-jam untuk latihan dan koordinasi untuk memastikan pelaksanaan acara yang lancar. Komitmen para mahasiswa ini mengubah acara ini menjadi sebuah pertunjukan bakat yang semarak dan meriah.
Kaprodi Sastra Inggris mengungkapkan kebanggaannya atas pencapaian Himpunan Mahasiswa Sastra Inggris dan mahasiswa baru angkatan 2023. Beliau memuji acara ini sebagai titik awal untuk pertumbuhan pribadi dan kolektif, menekankan pentingnya kolaborasi, persatuan, saling mendukung, dan pengembangan potensi setiap mahasiswa.
