Vice-Reactor Teknokrat Give me Seven Strategic Recommendations at RPPP IV National Application

The Vice-Director of the Indonesian University of Teknokrat, Dr. H. Mahathir Muhammad, SE, MM, relayed seven important recommendations in the Center and Pleno (RPPP) IV Indonesian Swasta College Association that took place at 14-16 February 2025.

In his capacity as Deputy Chairman of the Daily Administration II Lapung, Mahathir was present on behalf of Chairman of the Second Lampung District, Firmansyah, who was on duty abroad.

The pleno meeting was held at Hotel Nagoya Hill, Batam, Riau Island Province, followed by private college representatives from various parts of Indonesia, including from Lampong, Ajh, Northern Sumatera, Riau, Yogyakarta, to East Java.

The presence of Mahathir in the national forum aims to voice private college aspirations, especially those from the Second Lampung region, in order to encourage national education policy improvement.

In his report, Mahathir outlined seven strategic points:

Accredited back to the Band-PT - requesting that the college's accreditation process be restored completely to the University National Accreditation Agency (BET).

Adding KIP quota for PTS - proposing the increase of KIP recipients to private colleges to be more proportional than state colleges.

The continuation of the teacher's certification - made it clear that further studies of professors still get certification benefits.

The ease of the great teacher for the PTS - requests a simplification of the terms of a major degree in private college.

Cluster grant PTS research - recommending a lone cluster for the PTS in research and training grants, as per human human human human human capacity.

Remote campus restrictions of PTN are asking for the opening of a college away state college to be stopped due to impact on student admissions at the PTS.

The minimum "fine" accreditation equilibrium quality - proposed that the PTS graduate with minimal "Good" accreditation can be stated by government agencies.

Besides, Mahathir highlighted a new student acceptance system on PTN that's too many paths — From invitations, KIP college, SNMPTN, to self-service routes multiple times — Who he thinks has narrowed down the PTS chances on student nets.

Through his participation in this national forum, the University of the Indonesian Teknocrat showed his commitment to fighting for the quality and sustainability of private education in Indonesia. Mahathir wishes that the recommendation could drive the creation of a more fair and sustainable education system.
