Dr. Patrick McNamara, Ph.D., is known for his warmth and friendship. His smile is ever- present when speaking to anyone. One memorable instance for me is when he associated us, even joining the Eid al-Fitr prayer at the American Muslim Institute Omaha (AMI), despite being a devout Christian. When I presented him with a memento from Technocrat University Indonesia, he was deeply touched and honored. He mentioned that here, he engages more in social activities, interacting with the local community and football. In class, we only happily covered "lntroduction to Civic Engagement" once or twice.
