Creative Process Through Long Collaboration
This semester, English Literature students of batch 2020 have accomplished a brilliant achievement through the Short Movie Production class guided by Miss Dina Amelia, S.S., M.Humm. They succeeded in producing a short film entitled "The Way I Used to Be" which tells the story of an old woman, she always deserves that she is old, she is always trapped in her youth, which is the high school time. because she feels strange every time she wakes up in her home, she goes looking for her home and in the home she is looking for is not a home in the real sense but her daughter.
For a whole semester, the English Literature students worked closely together to produce this extraordinary work. From thinking of the initial idea, writing the script, location surveillance, to the final shooting and editing process, each step went through countdown. Different of opinion, technical issues, and other objects put their collection skills to the test. However, it is through these objects that a solid team is formed. Their commitment from start to finish, destroy the difficulties, led to stunt results. This success cannot be separated from the graduation of Miss Dina Amelia, S.S., M.Hum., who carefully guided the students through every stage of creation.
The results of their long struggle were finally realized, with days given to English Literature students. Gitarisza Novinka Setyorini made us proud by being warned as Script Writer, while Rizma Amalia Sa'ta dedicated to be honored as Producer. Last but not least, Sahat Prantinus Parulian Kaban as director. This award is a recognition of their dedication in the process of making this short movie project.

Not only the direct guidance from Miss Dina Amelia, S.S., M.Hum., but also the full support from the Head of English Department, Mr. Suprayogi, S.S., M.Hum., has been the main driving force in this existence. Mr. Suprayogi felt very proud of the work produced by his students and expressed his commitment in support students' positive activities to develop their interests, talks, and skills in the fields of literature.
The students' success in producing this powerful and meaningful short movie is not only a personal achievement, but also reflections the passion and dedication inherent in English Literature education at University of Teknokrat Indonesia. This existence reminds us of the potential that students have in making a positive impact through art. The short film "The Way I Used to Be" is not only a environment to the collection that returned in an outstanding work, but also a good reflection that a good education and solid support are the keys to succeed in producing influential and inspiring works.

From thinking of early ideas, writing scripts, location surveys, to final imaging and editing, every step goes through countless challenges. Different opinions, technical problems, and other obstacles to test their collaboration skills. But instead, through this obstacle, a solid team formed. Their commitment from beginning to end, although faced with many difficulties, brings astonishing results. This success has not escaped the guidance of Miss Dina Amelia, S.S., M.Hum., who carefully guided students through every stage of creativity.
