Scientific Presentation Course Enriched with Valuable Knowledge

In May of the 2022 / 2023 academic year, the English Literature Study Program made a brilliant achievement by obtaining a testing practitioner grant from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia. One of the courses that beneited greatly from this grant was the Scientific Presentation taught by Budi Eko Pranoto, S.S., M.Humm.

In this activity, the English Literature study program collated clacenly with an experimental practitioner, Shadika Mega Pupita Sari, S.Hum., M.M. Who produced valuable material on Sustainate Development Goals (SDG). This material includes the definition of SDGs, programs that are implemented, and the import of SDGs in a global and national context. This activity took place over similar sessions and was attended by around 20 students, taking place online through the Zoom platform.

Students Gain Broad Insights on SDGs

During this activity, students were given the task to develop presentations on the programs that they would design based on SDG principles. They not only had the opportunity to present their ideas but also received valuable feelings from practitioners who have experience in the field. This was an important moment for the students, as they understood how important the concept of SDGs is in their daily lives, in the company, and internationally. In an atmosphere full of action, students had the opportunity to ask questions and discuss SDG topics, understand their impact at variable levels, and reflect on how life on this planet is interconnected.

The Head of English Literature Study Program, Suprayogi, S.S., M.Hum, proudly expressed his excitement for his students' achievements. He hopes that this kind of activity will continue to motivate students to remain active and creative in developing their potential in supporting and adapting SDG principles, both in their immediate environment and on a broader scale. The English Literature Study Program has produced its commitment in providing meaningful and relevant education for its students, with support from experienced practitioners in the field.
