Importance of Learning English and Public Speaking for Students

The Community Service team in SMAN 5 Metro considers of Dina Amelia, S.S., M.Humm. English Literature Lecturer, Intan haw, S.Pd., M.Pd. Dina Amelia, M.Hum., the Head of the activity, explained that the goal of this PKM activity was to provide an understanding of learning English and Public Speaking for students and to create using infracory journalists at SMAN 5 Metro.

The activity covered the management of learning English for students in the modern era and learning English through the public speaking method. The English literature lecturer at the University of Teknocrat Indonesia, Dina Amelia, S.S., M.Hum., and Memory Gulo, S.S., M.Hum., delivered this content. Meanwhile, training in Infographic Journalism was produced by the lectureds from the Departments of English Education and Mathematics Education, called Instant Instant.

Interactive Teaching Materials

The PKM activity was well- received by the school. The Principal of SMAN 5 Metro, Suparni, S.Pd., M.Pd., mentioned that English training is heavily needed by students and teachers, especially in facing the technology-based modern era. She expressed her appreciation for the training and motivation produced by the UTI professors to the students and SMAN 5 Metro. Through this training, they hoped that the students would be inspired to create more interactive materials. During this event, Suparni hoped that the collection between Teknokrat University Indonesia and SMAN 5 Metro would continue to thrill.

On this occasion, the UTI PKM team also expressed their gravity to the Director of the University of Tepicat Indonesia, Dr. HM. Meanwhile, the Vice Reactor of the University of Teknocrat Indonesia, Dr. H. Mahathir Muhammad, SE. Many Schools in Lampung have become venues for UTI PKM activities and have established good partners ships with the university. This material was delivered by a British Literature professor at the University of Teknocrat Indonesia, Dina Amelia, S.S., M.Hum., and Gulo's Memory, S.S., M.Hums. As for the Infographic Journalism training delivered by English Education and Mathematical Education professor, the Inti Wat, S.Pd., M.Pd. and Kartik Raras, S.Pd, M.Pd. It talks about making ajar matter using infographic to make it more interesting and interactive.

Meanwhile, the Indonesian Vice-Rector University of Teknocrat, Dr. H. Mahathir Muhammad, SE., MM, appreciates the PKM activities that the Teknokrat University has done. Dozens of schools in Lampung have been the implementation of PKM University Teknokrat and have made good cooperation with the University of Teknowrat.
