A grant from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology Asts English Literature students in the 2022 / 2023 academic year from March to May 2023, one of the course Conversation, In this course, English Literature students are involved to explore the world of tourism in a unique way. Made Word, an experienced practitioner in his field, provided in-depth insight into various assets of the tourism industry. He has been in the industry for decades and is slowly the owner of Bali Luxury Tour and Travel.

Interductions to Tourist Industry

Made Word not only gave theoretical lectures, but also shared his practical experience. Students were invited to understand the role of a tour guide, travel organizer, and also how to present information in English about culinary, working technology, and spirits of the archipelago. They also learn how to create a comprehensive tour package, including calculating costs, accommodacy, transport, entrance tickets, and potential inquisition.

Student learning

Students are invited to apply the knowledge they have gainted in a reality-life situation. They were chained to design a tour package in the Lampung region for 3 days and 2 nights. This challenge not only gave students practical experience, but also honored their skills in managing the business assets of tourism. They were involved to calculate expenses, registration feelings, accommodation, transport, entry tickets, and even potential inquisition.

Introduction to the tourism Industries.

Made Word, an experienced practitioner in his field, gave insight into various aspects of the tourism industry. He has been in this industry for decades and is currently the owner of Bali Luxury Tour and Travel.

Made Word not only gave theoretical lectures, but also shared his practical experience. Students are asked to understand the role of tour guide, travel organizer, and also how to present information in English about culinary, cooking techniques, and nasantara spices. They also learned how to make comprehensive travel packages, including counting expenses, accommodations, transportation, admission, admission and potential.

Studies for students

Next, students are invited to apply the knowledge they gain in real situations. They were challenged to design travel packages in the Lampung area for 3 days and 2 nights. These challenges not only give students practical experiences, but also hone their skills in managing aspects of tourism business.
